1. Install & Activate the Plugin

Search for "Calculate Prices Based on Distance for WooCommerce" from the WordPress plugin repository and click Install & Activate. After activation, you’ll be redirected to the plugin’s settings page automatically.

2. Get Your Google Maps API Key

To calculate delivery distances, you need a Google Maps API key. Follow this detailed guide to generate your key and enable required APIs.

3. Check Your API Key Status in Admin

In the plugin settings, click the “Check Google Maps API Key” button to verify if the following APIs are enabled:

  • ✔ Geocoding API
  • ✔ Distance Matrix API
  • ✔ Directions API
  • ✔ Places API
  • ✔ Maps JavaScript API

The tool will tell you exactly which ones are active and which ones are missing.

4. Set Your Cost Per Distance & Shop Location

Under the "Distance Settings" section, set:

  • 📍 Your store's address
  • 💵 Price per KM or Mile
  • 🔁 Choose the unit (KM or Miles)

This will automatically calculate delivery charges based on customer location.

5. Done! Enjoy Automated Delivery Pricing

Your store now charges customers based on their distance from your location — no more flat rates or unfair fees!
